Jessie O' Fishing Reports

Now is the time for the real fisherman to break out the warm clothes! We are catching stripers and blues when we have anglers show up! We've been trolling them up every time we get out, even with a very small amount of fisherman! From now on and for a few more weeks is the time to be out there fishing! We are catching tog on the wrecks also, but most calls have been for the stripers. We will fish till the end of Feb. on a daily schedule for whatever the crew wants to shoot for! The 65' Big Boat is currently available at discounted rates for small or large groups, we especially would like to invite all of you that have put your boats away for the year, but still want to fish....give us a try!

Free fare for 2008 spring season when you come out with us till the end of our season this year with every paid adult ticket.

Don't forget about our Christmas eve day 10hr special @7am. $65.00 per person, everything included, must make reservations.

The Jessie O' Fishing Fleet reports lots of great action jigging and trolling up monster blues with bass mixed in! Our back bay pontoon will be going to sleep till early spring in the upcoming week, so any bay trips will now be on the big boat. We'll continue to fish for bass n blues and tog on a daily basis till @ least February!!!!!

The Jessie O' Fishing Fleet at Captain Andy's marina in Margate would like to report that fluke action is very good on both the ocean and bay trips on our vessels daily!
   The large fluke are finally showing up out in the ocean on our reef trips aboard the 65' Jessie O' II, along with small blues and some nice keeper sea bass, even a stud porgy was boated the other day!
        Eric Tkacz (9yrs old) from Mays landing won the pool with a 5lb 4 oz flattie (from an undisclosed location in the ocean), also on the same trip a three lb sea bass was boated! We also saw a 3 lb porgy. Friday we had thirteen keepers to over 5 lbs. and many "just" under sized ones too! Saturday's bachelor party charter pool went to Warren Schuler  for his 8 pound 11 ounce Fluke...nice catch!
   Our 45' back bay Fish n Fun, ran by Captains Chalie, Frank and Lee, have been boating keepers consistently after weeding through lots of just under sized ones. Small blues seem to be present on all trips, both ocean and bay on a regular basis. We want to invite everyone down to experience some great fishing while supplies last....then we move on to Tog, Black sea bass and Stripers!!! Well into the fall and early winter!

The Jessie O' Fishing Fleet from Capt Andy's Marina In Margate reports a week with a whole lot of action! Capt Jay aboard the Jessie O' II is glad to see that the Fluke action has turned on during the Deep Sea Ocean trips to the local reef sites. Glen Horay (photo) from Ocean City grabbed the pool with his 7.1 pound whopper Flounder on Saturdays 6 hour deep sea trip aboard the Jessie O' II. Other catches included a 5.4 sea bass. The mixed bag fishing has improved with catches of keeper flounder, sea bass & small blues on the 6 & 8 hour trips. Also, the Jessie O' II in fishing Magic Hours Monday thru Friday 5pm-8pm. Back Bay fishing aboard Jessie O's Fish N Fun has produced great numbers of keeper flounder as well as large number of shorts. The action has been greatand the kids and families have been having a great time catching. Capt Lee found 3 nice keeper fluke on Sundays afternoon trip even though the winds were hawking! Pool winner on that trip was a 2.6 pound fluke caught Dan Prosser from Collingswood, NJ.
