Was a nice day but the fishing was slow. We
stuck it out till 6:00pm. Jeff finally landed this 45lb 48 1/2 inch
Bass. It was tough getting it in the boat in the dark.
Way to go Jeff.

We gave it a try today and wound up with
1-29" Bass. Several were caught, a few nice ones in the Rips. They are
showing up better every day. The next couple of weeks should be good for
the big ones.
There were also some big Blues caught.

I had a few Bass taken in the rips
yesterday, with the water getting down below 60 things should be picking
up.

We made a run off shore today for some Sea
Bass, we probably caught 250 bass and ended up with 30 keepers to 4 lb.
No Stripers yet.
There is a ton of Tog around but it is hard
to keep just one.

The water is cooling off, hopefully it will
not be like last year and the colder water will be on time.
Some Bass are showing up mostly early
morning or at night.
The water is down to 64 in the marina so
hopefully the big Bass will be moving into the Bay.
There is a lot of bait in the water for them
to eat.
Mahi
has been good from the reports, but the wind has been blowing for two
weeks so I haven't tried yet.
It seems like the weather this weekend is
finally going to be good, I might give some Sea Bassing a try. There have
been some nicer fish lately.

Took a ride out in the deep water yesterday,
and had 9 nice Flounder, 2 were over 22"
We had several throwbacks but but wound up
with a few nice ones.
It seems Flounder are finally starting to
show up in better numbers and bigger fish.

| Well what a
difference a day makes, went out with Joe yesterday and we couldn't buy a
fish. Went today with Scott, Brian and Jim and we had 6 keepers and released
a 36 -38" fish to fight another day. Go figure. Capt. Mike |
